The Grocery Team Member is a part-time position responsible for providing support to the Grocery team, including receiving and preparing products, maintaining the grocery floor, and ensuring displays are well-stocked. You will focus on providing courteous and efficient service to customers while maintaining WFM standards. This role involves breaking down deliveries, stocking shelves, and ensuring a positive shopping environment at Whole Foods Market.

  • Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked.
  • Perform front-facing, code checking, and rotating of products to remove out-of-date items.
  • Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen, and dairy cases.
  • Monitor and prevent spoilage; communicate waste to Team Leaders and supervisors.
  • Maintain back stock in good order and assist with periodic inventory checks.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing needs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, including checking price accuracy and signage.
